Table of Contents
Getting Started
CS2 Tracker works in two modes: Guest mode and Signed-in mode.
Guest Mode
Start immediately without signing in. All your items are stored locally on your device. Perfect for trying out the app or if you prefer local-only storage.
Signed-in Mode
Sign in with a one-time email code to sync your inventory across devices. Your data is stored securely in the cloud, so you can access it from anywhere.
Tip: You can start as a guest and sign in later. Your existing items will automatically merge with your cloud account.
Adding Items
Quick Add
The fastest way to add items manually. Simply type the item name, select the exterior (wear), and click "Add item".
- Search by base name (e.g., "AK-47 | Redline")
- Choose the wear condition from the dropdown
- Set quantity if you have multiple items
- Use advanced notes for float, pattern, or variant information
Steam Import
Import your entire Steam inventory automatically. No manual entry required.
- Go to your Steam inventory page
- Copy the URL from your browser
- Paste it into the import field on the dashboard
- Click "Import" and wait for the sync to complete
Smart Parsing
When typing item names, CS2 Tracker can automatically detect wear conditions, quantities, and patterns. Try typing: "AK-47 | Redline (FT) x2 #123"
Understanding the Dashboard
The dashboard is your central hub for managing all your CS2 items. Here's what you'll find:
Item Table
View all your items in a sortable, filterable table:
- Item name and image
- Exterior condition
- Pattern and float values
- Current prices from Steam and Skinport
- Price changes (24h and 30d)
- Total value
Sorting & Filtering
Click column headers to sort by that field. Use the search bar to filter items by name. Sort by price, quantity, or any other column to organize your inventory.
Item Details
Click on any item to view detailed information, including price history charts, metadata, and more.
Price Tracking
CS2 Tracker automatically fetches prices from Steam and Skinport, keeping your inventory values up to date.
Multi-Currency Support
Switch between AUD, USD, and EUR using the currency dropdown. All prices convert automatically throughout the dashboard.
Price Charts
View interactive price history charts for each item. Hover over data points to see exact prices and dates. Track how your items' values change over time.
Price Changes
See percentage changes for 24-hour and 30-day periods. Green indicates price increases, red shows decreases. Quickly identify which items are gaining or losing value.
Automatic Updates
Prices update automatically in the background. You'll see the latest values without needing to refresh the page.
Advanced Features
Variants & Phases
For special items like Doppler knives, you can specify the phase (Phase 1-4, Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, etc.). The price multiplier adjusts automatically based on the variant.
Float Values
Add float values to track the exact wear condition of your items. Useful for collectors and traders who care about specific float ranges.
Pattern IDs
Record pattern IDs for items with unique patterns (like Case Hardened skins). These notes stay attached to your items for reference.
Quantity Tracking
Set quantities for items you own multiple of. The total value automatically multiplies by quantity, giving you accurate portfolio totals.
